Rice Growing Outlook (RGO) Report
The Rice Growing Outlook (RGO) report began to be published in October 2013 with support from JAXA/RESTEC. The ASEAN Food Security Information System (AFSIS) Secretariat has been ongoing since January 2017 to provide the report through our website. It monitors and analyzes rice-growing conditions across nine ASEAN Member States, namely Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Furthermore, AFSIS provides this information to the Asia-RiCE component of GEOGLAM and disseminates the RGO findings through the AFSIS website to support regional agricultural monitoring and forecasting efforts.
