Agricultural Commodities Outlook
ACO Report is a situation analysis report of both supply and demand of food crops in current year and the subsequence year forecast. Available in two issues (June and December) from 2008 onwards. The December issue provides an annual outlook for the following year for the focus commodities. The June issue provides an updated annual outlook for the current year. The outlook covers the supply-demand balance (beginning stocks, production, imports, utilization, other use, exports, and ending stocks), as well as data on supply-demand balance for the past years.
Early Warning Information Report
The EWI report contains information on the situation of staple food production and regional food security. It reports and analyses information on planted area, harvested area, production, yield, damaged areas and crop condition to forecast potential emergency situations. The reports will be made available through the AFSIS website bi-annually on March and September.
Rice Growing Outlook (RGO) Report
The Rice Growing Outlook (RGO) report began to be published in October 2013 with support from JAXA/RESTEC. The ASEAN Food Security Information System (AFSIS) Secretariat has been ongoing since January 2017 to provide the report through our website. It monitors and analyzes rice-growing conditions across nine ASEAN Member States, namely Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Furthermore, AFSIS provides this information to the Asia-RiCE component of GEOGLAM and disseminates the RGO findings through the AFSIS website to support regional agricultural monitoring and forecasting efforts.
This report is a yearly report on AFSIS activities and the progress of AFSIS implementation plan on the current year and also presenting the upcoming year activities and the expected progress of AFSIS implementation plan.
