New AFSIS Secretariat Office with contribution of the Office of Agricultural Economics of Thailand

AFSIS Secretariat warm welcomed to new AFSIS Secretariat office with the kind-contribution from the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE), Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Thailand. The office is relocated since 21st September 2020 on the 2nd floor of the OAE's Innovation Building which is closed to the APTERR Secretariat office.

The new office is spacious, proportional and good atmosphere to enhance and support AFSIS staff's working capability and creativity which will lead AFSIS Secretariat to achieve the goal to strengthen food security in the ASEAN plus three countries.

In this respect, AFSIS Secretariat would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the OAE for the generous contribution.

The new address of the AFSIS Secretariat is 2nd Floor, Office of Agricultural Economics (Innovation) Building, Kasetsart University Complex, Phahonyothin Road, Ladyao, Chatuchak, Bangkok 10900 Thailand

On 9-12 April 2024, The Asia and the Pacific Food Security Forum 2024 will be held in Manila, Philippines hosted by The Asian Development Bank (ADB), to discuss actions to ease a worsening food crisis in the region, and to improve long-term food security by strengthening food systems against the impacts of climate change and biodiversity loss among stakeholders in Asia and the Pacific.
