On 17th December 2019, the ASEAN Plus Three Food Security Information System (AFSIS) Secretariat held the meeting on "The 3rd Phase Real-Time AFSIS Project" with representatives from Korea Agency of Education, Promotion and Information Service in Food, Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries (EPIS) and technical staff from the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE). The meeting was chaired by Mr. Vinit Atisook, AFSIS Manager.
The main objective of the meeting was to discuss technically on the upcoming 3rd Phase AFSIS Project in terms of linking National Agricultural Information System (NAIS) to AFSIS system, and to exchange views and experiences in related terms.

On 28 June 2024, the AFSIS Secretariat was invited to join a significant meeting with the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) and the ASEAN Plus Three Emergency Rice Reserve (APTERR) Secretariat. The meetings aimed to discuss potential collaboration for exploring the LRBFR and to learn from their experiences over more than 10 years of operating the regional emergency rice reserve and the food security-related information-sharing system. which collaborative by Representatives from the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE) of Thailand also participated in the discussion.
On 11-12 June 2024, the 22nd AFSIS Focal Point Meeting was conducted at Hybrid in Putrajaya, Malaysia. Hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security of Malaysia, in collaboration with the AFSIS Secretariat. The meeting was chaired by Datuk Azah Hanim Ahmad, Deputy Secretary General (Policy), Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, Malaysia.
